On tap served in snifter appears black in color with a khaki cap. Some spotty lace sticks to the glass.
The aroma contains pleasant coconut, toasted oak, marshmallow, coffee and char. A slight overall earthiness is present.
The taste however is a little green with hoppy/yeastiness. Some toasted coconut, raw oak, bourbon and anise/earthy char akin to coffee across the finish.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Its decent but probably coulda been even better if left in the barrels longer.
