Bright & juicy with aromas of grapefruit, orange & tangerine that give way to a soft resinous finish; a very approachable IPA.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Dull pale orange hazy body, decent head retains well, snowy rings of lacing early on. Aroma is nondescript. On tasting, light bodied, tropical, smooth, mildly hoppy. Finish is clean, hop presence seems to grow.
Overall, liking this one. It's not flashy, no big flavors, but it's clean, very drinkable.

A pint can poured into a clear Imperial pint mug fit after allowing some thick and tight foam to recede. It smells like a NEIPA, more starchy than hoppy. The visual is a murky strawberry blond color with copious white head and lacing. Predictions: Hops and malt contributions muted by an overabundance of wheat and/or oats. Lighter to the palate than it looks like it should be. These have been tried before. Now the review. Almost no barley malt sweetness to use as a backbone for the hops. It's rather thin to the palate, check. There are some hoppy things going on, but they seem at least as sour as bitter. Here's a recommendation to take a different route.

Have you ever heard the adage of "One door closing means the opening of CANother"? The Pizza Boy horizontal became MUCH more involved than I initially imagined! Between long hours at work & not drinking as much as I would like as a result, it was a really protracted affair. It was also CANspirational in that they are based out of Enola, PA, on the west shore of the Susquehanna River, across from Harrisburg. Also on the west shore is Ever Grain in Camp Hill, PA & if that city seems familiar, then you may have been a Book of the Month Club member at one time. Fasten your seat belts as The CANQuest (tm) takes on this undertaking! 5/13.

This is apparently an NEIPA & so I have submitted a ChANge request & that is how I will be thinking of it. I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug in the hopes that perhaps others had been mistaken & this might be an AIPA. It foamed beautifully, forming two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with very good retention. Color was a faintly-hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9), so the likelihood of its being an NEIPA increased. Nose smelled strongly of citrus, especially orange & tangerine with some grapefruit thrown in, all underlain by a creeping caramel maltiness. No date stamp, but this was a recent purchase. Hmm. Mouthfeel was medium, but it lacked the creaminess of the NEIPA style. It was as though this was on the cusp of AIPA/NEIPA. The taste was better than the nose, with a pronounced orange-tangerine citrusiness & the caramel maltiness much less forward than it seemed to be on the nose. Hmm. Finish was semi-dry & citrusy, but it lacked bitterness. I was left feeling somewhat unfulfilled. YMMV.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a very hazy golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, juicy. Taste is the same as the aroma, a touch of malts, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a flavorful and enjoyable beer.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Opaque golden pour with massive fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.
S: Grapefruit and citrus. Fruity.
T.F: Soft and citrusy. Strong grapefruit... lighter tropical fruits. Tangerine and rind. Modest bitterness. Creamy carbonation.
O: A very tasty NEIPA... great drinkability and love the lower ABV. Well worth trying.

Pours a hazy, muddy straw color with less than a finger of head. The nose has light notes of citrus fruits. The flavor is plenty hoppy for a single IPA but there isn't much complexity to go along with the bitterness.
