Seasons greetings from a hop rocket of holiday happiness. Exploding with juiciness, this hazy Triple IPA combines citrus notes with a soft piney finish. It's like a tropical vacation in the middle of the winter.

Missile Toad – from Ever Grain Brewing. 16 fl oz can was purchased from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA on 08/12/23 for $ 5.00 (Including tax), $ 0.3125/fl oz. Reviewed 27/12/23 (Review 3204). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Undated can. Stored at 34 degrees at home. Served at 44.2 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 51.6 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.25
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), opaque.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, same with light penetration at the edges.
Head: Average (Maximum 3.5 cm, aggressive center pour), baby powder, high density with a rocky top, average retention, dropping to a 0.8 – 1.2 cm undulating crown, and a thin, complete cap.
Lacing – Excellent! Wide band of tiny to small bubbles beginning to break into torn curtain lacing.
Aroma – 4 – Very melony hops and slightly sweet. No malt, no yeast, no alcohol (10.5 % ABV as marked on the label).
Flavor – 2 – Odd. Slightly sweet with a slightly resinous chemical/cleaner background. No yeast, no malt, no alcohol. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Mild gastric warming.
Palate – 4 – Medium; just short of creamy; soft but lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Toad’s facial expression is perfect for Bufo woodhousei fowlerii. However, the odd taste makes me wonder about the drinkability, so the rest is going down the drain.

Grabbed a single at Outlet Liquors. No can date. Cute frog.
Beer poured. Full plumy white head on top of a beautiful soft hazy yellow base. Really nice. No murkiness, no mud. Just a clean attractive hazy brew.
Nose exploded from can… bright and complex…though just a bit off putting after notes. Dry, raw.
Taste was an evolution over time. First take was green , raw, almost distasteful in its bitterness. But as beer opened up to air and warmed just a bit you could guess it was Galaxy hiding. As beer finished it rounded out beautifully as a New Zealand forward brew. Reminded me a bit of OH Space Diamonds. Really good at end.
Body started rough and a bit thin for for >10% brew, but again some air really softened it. Half way through it was a smooth medium light body that was really enjoyable/drinkable. ABV nicely hidden.
Overall, I enjoyed some of the beer. Look, body and strength of nose really said to me that these guys know how to brew. Big thumbs up.
Related, I’m planning on grabbing a few more… but these will sit in the fridge for quite awhile, and even then…will expect these beers need to be poured out in a wide mouthed glass and sit for a bit before jumping in.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow golden pour, skin of white head, lacing. Fruity aroma, mostly citrus, notes of stone fruit. Taste follows with juicy, fruity flavors, deep, thick feel. So lush, so deep. Latent warmth. Ever Grain is probably my favorite brewery in Pennsylvania.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky dark honey color with a persistent off-white head. Great lacing, especially for a high ABV beer. Initial impression is sweet citrus, with mango, pineapple, and orange predominating. Mouthfeel is soft, thick, and juicy. Finish fades to a sweet citrus with maybe a touch of pine. Very enjoyable!

I just can't get a feel for this. It looks perfect. The smell and taste are sweet with not much hoppy taste at all. I wish they would have added a mosaic to this. It has a good backbone but can really but great with an additional hop.

No freshness info, but I had to buy iy. This is a rare case of buying based purely on name/label art.
No regrets, this is tasty. Extremely juicy with lots of sweet citrus and pineapple. Low bitterness and faint caramel sweetness. The alcohol is extremely well masked.

Pours a completely opaque dirty straw color with over a finger of head. The nose has distinct floral notes. The flavor has a solid maltiness with residual tropical fruitiness. The alcohol is present but not obtrusive. The body is plenty hearty.
