For our latest DIPA we implemented a new experimental dry hopping technique which brought intense aromas & flavors of papaya, mango, & orange rind from copious amount of Mosaic hops.

16oz can poured into a snifter. Look is cloudy and straw like. Smell has a good mango sweetness a bit of peach. Taste is bready and the up front is mango but it tappers off quicker then I would like. slight bite at the end that requires some more malt balance. a faint peppery taste at the end. Overall, one of the best NEIPA's from EG I have had. They are moving in the right direction!

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy medium gold with a persistent off-white head. Initial impression is juicy pineapple, orange, mango, and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium; nice and soft. Finish is somewhat sweet, but clean. Overall, a very enjoyable NEIPA from Ever Grain.

A - Borderline hazy / opaque dark golden tan color with very sticky lacing.
S - Sticky and dank tropical fruit slams the nose with some authority. Pineapple, mango, papaya, orange citrus, and citrus rind.
T - Pulpy citrus and tropical fruit: Spicy fruit rind, some peppery notes, mango, papaya, pineapple, spicy floral, some delicate sticky pine, and some slight earthiness on the very backside.
M - Full body with a soft texture mouthfeel.
O - This is a rock solid IPA. Since it's 7.7% Ever Grain classifies this as a Double IPA as opposed to a single. Drives me crazy when breweries intentionally hit the bottom line for a Double IPA and then charge a D-IPA price. Story for a different day. HOWEVER - Is this beer worth checking out? It absolutely is, very flavorful and Ever Grain has a track record of brewing some pretty solid stuff. Check it out.

Hazy pineapple juice body with a white head that fades into a thick collar with some lacing. Fruity hops starring papaya, grapefruit, passionfruit, pineapple, mango, and a kiss of peach in the nose. Taste has more dankness in the nose light on, great papaya and grapefruit leading the pack. Melon, lychee, mango, and orange pulp round out. Nose maybe more complex but taste has more depth, intensity, and purposeful flavor. Feel starts dank and bitter then ascends to the top of the mouth with a fruity brightness that dries out in a hurry. Not the heaviest weight but fits the flavor complexion. Wonderful debut!
