This Milkshake IPA was hopped with Simcoe hops then aged on mango & tangerine purée as well as fresh vanilla beans.

First - I love a good milkshake IPA. I find the style to be a rare find, but one of my favorites when I find it. I am rating this beer vs. expectations for a milkshake IPA.
Look - Near perfect. Deep orange and thick like an OJ.
Smell - A citrusy mixture with hints of guava. Very pleasant.
Taste - I love a bitterness with my beer, but the mixture of bitter and citrusy sour is a little off to me.
Feel - Thick. Strong. The lactose thickness is exactly what you expect, but it has an acidity that almost stings.
Overall - A good beer, but not high in its class and not one I would seek in the future.
