This hazy Double IPA is goldenrod hued & brewed with new experimental New Zealand hops. Aromas of fresh pineapples give-way to a burst of tropical fruitiness along with a touch of nectarine. Finishes soft with very little bitterness.

Poured into a goblet: color is straw gold, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head dissipates to frothy top and frothy lacing.

Smell is sweet, pithy, mixed tropicals, candy, oats and wheat denseness.

Taste is similar with sweet, candy, pith, mixed tropicals, oats, wheat.

Mouthfeel is a bit much - low carbonation, full sweetness, low bitterness, just a sloggy dense brew.

Overall this is a thick/dense brew with light carbonation and bitterness that can assist in cutting through that denseness.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO Freshness dating, get with the program Ever Grain.

Pale pineapple juice colored body. Small bright white head, thick streaks of lacing. Aromas of over ripe fruit and a touch herbal. On tasting, better than expected. Strong fruit hops, mostly non citrus. Somewhat dank, warmth from the abv. Finish is clean, fruity and a pleasing warmth.

Overall, an enjoyable nightcap.

Creative half label into a pint glass much hazier than I expected no floaties but bright yellow with a nice 1/2 inch of froth. Smell is a bit tame fruity hops candied malts some cracker zest. Taste is OK its got a good bitter edge more sweet and fuller than I wanted but pretty easy hidden ABV. For a couple of bucks its a decent beer but I couldn't see myself drinking another it might be old but with no can on date I can't tell.

Enjoyed chilled from the can in a glass

The color is smoothie golden, murky cream with yellowish hue and frothy white head with fine beading...lace clings in a film

Smell is pine-like and zesty with citrus rind and faint sweetish malt and gentle yeast ester

The feel is semi bitter with sweet body supporting the resinous texture with mild astringent element with creaminess and subtle bright quality as it finishes semi dry yet lingering hop
The taste begins with fruity essrnce and herbal hops that are tropical with citrus and tangerine tangyness that is equalled by a smooth lactose sweet body and faint earthy quality with mild bitterness and full feel of malt with resins coating like candied hop that is slightly creamsicle and mild tea like astringent aspect with fading into dry mineral finish
This is a solid take on the style but favors sweet and fruity over bitter with alcohol that is well hidden, but I dont think I could drink 2 back back without effort
