Ever Grain Brewing Co. "Lusus Naturae"
16 fl. oz. can seemingly without production codes or freshness dating
$4.25 @ Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy golden body beneath a finger's width of creamy white foam. The aroma is sweetish with tropical fruit. The taste follows and I'm clearly getting oats in the grain bill. Is there anything on the label... no. I'm quite sure there's some wheat involved, and this tastes to me like a Pilsner malt base rather than 2-row but I could be wrong. The hops are and very finely threaded through the malt. I'm getting notes of orange, white grape, sweet berries, apple, melon, papaya, and a bit of lime. There's also a tiny bit of spiciness that could be from the hops, the alcohol, or both. It's moderately bitter but along with the light spiciness there's also some light "hop burn" so it finishes far less sweeter than it begins. I love it. In the mouth it's medium-full in body and velvety smooth due to a fine-bubbled moderate carbonation and all of the extra proteins from the oats and wheat. Definitely one of the better NEIPAs I've tasted recently.

Canned on: ?????

A - Dark opaque golden orange with a massive, billowy, rocky cream colored head that's a good two fingers thick.

S - Musty grape, tropical fruit spiciness, a small shot of lime.

T - Tropical fruit, musty grape, sweet grapefruit, spicy grape rind, papaya, and some lime on the backside. Finishes on the sweeter side with a slight bitterness.

M - Thick mouthfeel, chewy, and a tad frothy after it hits the palate. Finishes very dry on the back of the tongue and on the walls of the mouth while watering up front.

O - The ABV is expertly hidden in this beer and dig the subtle spiciness. This one is a winner and well worth trying.

Smells and tastes of juicy ripe mango and ripe breadfruit. Thick off-white head. The mouthfeel is soft and creamy.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky gold with a persistent, off-white head. Initial impression is juicy citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and white grape. Mouthfeel is soft, sticky, and juicy. Finish is somewhat sweet for my tastes, but YMMV.
