A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large, thin layer of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange and grapefruit citrus are present in the nose along with underlying hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell but there are additional hints of tropical fruit such as passion fruit and papaya along with some pine in the finish. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the taste of this IPA to be quite complex.

On tap @ Tavern 23 in Po-town,
Bright yellow and clear with a soapy white head that would kick up when encouraged but not hang out long or leave much behind to cling.
Aroma is bright and citrus-ee despite the no hazy look. No malt or depth noted.
No complexity or malt character in the flavor - light in body, taste and ....... everything.
Finish is IPA -ish with a good pepper bite that drowns out the lingering grapefruit thing.
Ya know, I don't mind paying 7-8 bucks plus the $2 tip for the barkeep required of such a price for a 16 oz pint of fresh, well made beer in the style intended. But when I am continually left wanting and wondering where all the good beer went I am reluctant, to say the least, to try the next "new" beer at wherever, whenever. That used to be my thing when there were FAR fewer breweries yet WAY more variety of styles and takes on styles.
Now we basically have 1 flavor profile that taste more like fruity malternatives than actual beer.
I pray to all that's right and just in the universe to end the citrus hop with oat and wheat starch, cloying lactose milkshake pale ales ( they ain't IPA's I don't care what you call 'em) and bury them deep in the mud, muck and mire of some polluted tidal estuary to ever sink deep, forgotten and out of memory.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a clear gold with a persistent off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is lemon, grapefruit rind, and a hint of malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall, a great take on an old-school West Coast AIPA.
