4th Poohbah review, bought at Urban Barley W 32 St NYC.
a) Perfect look, creamy pure white meringue head over chill haze west coast body
s) Ample grass, grape, pineapple, some floral mystery.
t) Builds large flavor profile of all the above, but adds much more orchard and floral mysterious flavors. Autumnal.
f) Clean, bigger than its ABV - nicely bitter finale. Inviting more sips.
o) One of the best 6.5% IPA ever. Must try more from brewer.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge, a large thin patch of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of tropical fruit hops are present in the nose - pineapple seems to stand out in particular.
T: The taste has flavors of pineapple and grape along a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and rather crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has an interesting combination of tropical fruit and bitterness.
Serving type: can

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a clear medium gold with a substantial off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is pine, caramel, grapefruit, and tropical fruits. None are dominant - it's a very nice balance. Mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. Finish is slightly bitter, fading to grapefruit and pine resin. Overall, a refreshing departure from Ever Grain's hazy NEIPAs. Recommended.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, grapefruit, lemon and pine with a hint of mixed tropical fruit. Flavor is lightly caramel and pale malt, citrus, piney and dank hops, lemon, pineapple, mild mixed tropical fruit, and pine with more pine in the finish which has a fine alpha oil bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and fine mouth feel. While a little laid back for a West Coast style IPA, this has an interesting hop bill that concentrates on the citrus and pine of the style, although with some other mixed fruit notes to spice things up. A bit of NE style IPA softness in the taste initially, but with a satisfying lingering bitterness in the finish. Nicely done. Good introduction to this brewery; thanks for sending a real, non-hazy IPA out our way to try.
