A fancy new IPA treat brewed with a bunch of oats for a soft body and a lingering tropical soda flavor and aroma from our hop growing pals in New Zealand.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. There appears to be no canning date.
Appearance: murky yellow-golden hue with two fingers of frothy ivory foam atop. It certainly looks the part of a hazy.
Smell: sweet, tropical, and juicy, with a little bit of dankness thrown into the works. I like the fruity aromas, although the sweetness has me mildly worried - is this gonna be a milkshake IPA?
Taste: it is sweet but not too milkshakey. Flavors are tropical: mango and maybe passionfruit, with a bit of melon in there and a bit of bitter citrus peel. This last one is low in the mix, and is a good complement to the sweetness. I gotta say, I'm really liking this beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: a solid, fruity, sweet, juicy IPA. I'm probably not ever gonna have two of these in a row, but one is just great.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky gold with a fluffy off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is juicy tropical fruits, pineapple, and a touch of caramel. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. Finish fades to a very subtle bitterness. Overall, one of Ever Grain's better NEIPAs.
