A harrowing true story of hop survival! We buried enough Citra and El Dorado into this Double IPA to awaken the senses of even the undead. Dripping with notes of sweet pine sap, mango smoothies, and immortal citrus pulp.

Slightly less than a fingers worth of late to develop light khaki colored froth... Modest retention... Color is a pale hazed lemony yellow... Nose is dominated by a mix of grapefruit and lemon zest... Some notes of wheat and pepper linger beneath the surface... Palate is exactly as expected with no additions, subtractions or surprises... Feel is medium and smooth... A surprising lack of carbonation (not bad thing)... A tad of a chalky finish... Goes down remarkably smoothly and insanely quaffable... Hides the 8.5% ABV rather well... Very nice beer... Unfortunately I must deduct a bit for lack of dating which is unacceptable in this day and age...

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky gold with a nice off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is juicy grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and maybe a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft. Finish is more citrus, slightly sweet. Overall, a very enjoyable and drinkable DIPA from Ever Grain.
