Roasty and toasty Robust Porter brewed for the cooler Autumn evenings ahead. A plethora of specialty and dark malts create layers of chocolate, toasted bread, light roast coffee beans, brown sugar and changing seasons.

Wife bought this from me from someplace near Mt. Gretna, PA as a gift. Glad she did. It's a very very solid porter, and the art on the can is also top-notch (props to the artist, whoever they are--wish they put the name of the artist on the can too. Rich, not quite stout-rich, but rich, somewhat bitter, but not too bitter. Roast malts. Tasty. Came in a four-pack. Wish she'd bought two.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a dark brown with a brief tan head. Not much lacing. Initial impression is roast malts, dark chocolate, and moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is thinner than a stout so probably about right for a Porter. Finish fades to a slightly bitter roastiness. Overall, a quite tasty Porter from Ever Grain.
