German style Lager brewed with select German malts and Noble hops. Aromas of freshly baked bread, floral hops and delicate white wine. Finishes with a pleasant biscuity and restrained hop bitterness.

Pours a nice golden amber with a frothy cream colored head.
Smells of fresh baked bread, toasted oats, and sweet bread malt.
Taste follows nose with nice subtleties and balance.

On tap at Brunzies in Indiana, PA. Poured into a standard pint glass: color is straw gold, head was bright white and presents one finger thick, head dissipates to nothing, no lacing.
Smell is Pilsner malt, earth, lemon, cracker, biscuit.
Taste is cracker and biscuit and Pilsner, lemon, earth, floral.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a very good export/Dortmunder style lager with great malt flavor and bright hop character.

This is an outstanding American take on a Dortmunder. Noticed first is its cumulus cloud of foam, seemingly much more pronounced than the average lager. Early sips had to be taken through these suds as they just stayed put. Scents of lemony grains, cracker, biscuit, and floral/herbal/earthy hops come to the forefront. Drinking this lager is a nice experience. A depth of flavors that were foreshadowed on the nose are all there in spades. Bittering hops come through in the back end tying everything together. This is a full bodied and delicately viscous lager. Worth seeking out, especially when fresh as this one was if you can determine this in one way or another due to Ever Grain's lack of can dating.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a clear gold color with a brief white head. Spotty lacing. Initial impression is bready malts, floral hops, and a slight bitterness. Mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. Finish is quite malty. Overall, a quite tasty departure from my normal diet of IPAs and Stouts.
