When dank and roasty collide, (ominous music intensifies). We brewed this Black IPA using German specialty malts for roast and resinous American hops for pine and citrus character, this one is sure to please your dark and hoppy sides.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a dark cola color with persistent off-white head. Decent lacing. Initial impression is roasted malt, coffee, citrus, and a touch of pine - sort of like someone poured a West Coast IPA into a Porter. Mouthfeel is clean and smooth. Finish fades to coffee and light pine bitterness. I'm not a huge Black IPA fan, but this one is good.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Darkest brown body with a persistent tan head which leaves a coat of lacing. Faint roasted malt aroma. Good tasting beer, leans more to ipa side than stout, which works for me. Hoppy, a light coffee touch. Finish quite smooth, a light roast.
