A German style Kolsch brewed collaboratively with our friends at Wolf Brewing. Using select German malts and fermented cool with a German Kolsch strain, we hopped this singularly with New Zealand Wakatu which lends a limey herbaceousness to an already krispy little crusher.

I am sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my Gaffel stange. Picked up the can while in PA about 4 weeks ago. No visible Date stamp. :(
the beer pours a clear light straw yellow color from the can, but is more golden in the glass. A fluffy bleached white head of 1 cm foams up and fades slowly to a sturdy surface covering. Leaves pretty dense lattice on the glass after each sip.
Aroma on this beer is pretty mild with a little bit of crackery bread malt with mild light fruitiness and a bit of an herbal tea hop note. No hints of ABV on the nose.
First sip reveals a very light body and smooth texture with very fine and tingly carbonation. Beer drinks super easy and dries out quite a bit on the finish.
Flavor is a little more bold than the nose, some crackery malt and a bit of white grape mix with a bit of light citrus and some herbal tea notes. A little bit of sweetness lingers after each sip, sort of a fruity flavor, very mild, like a sweet kiss of grape.
Never any ABV hints and my glass empties quickly. Pretty solid kolsch, that I am enjoying. I would buy this one again, not surprising, Im usually pretty happy with Ever Grain beers!
