Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw gold, slight chill haze, head is off white with fine and small bubbles and presents at least 1 finger thick, some lacing on glass sides.
Smell is mixed malt and hops with notes of biscuit and citrus forward then notes of herbal and earthy hops.
Taste is more malt and hop blend; light biscuit and hint of caramel, then hop notes of citrus, herbs, and light earth.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a modernish spin on the pale ale but a solid base malt profile and a subdued hop blend.

16oz can into a tall glass. No freshness dating.
Looks like a standard hazy, nice foamy white head leaves a sheet of lacing. Aroma is dull muted non citrus fruit. Taste quite full, tropical fruit. In the finish, it takes a west coast turn with a lasting grapefruit/pine note. Tasty drink.
