Clearly there’s a lot of beers in this series, and I’m quite amused by the fact that I’m starting out with the 69th one. This one sounds fun, you don’t often see cranberries used in beer. Let’s crack it open and find out what it has to offer
Pours an opaque muddy orange with a finger of frothy sand colored head that quickly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is rather straightforward but very nice for what it is. I’m picking up on aromas of orange juice, tart cranberry, lemon zest, vanilla bean, jammy peach, and brown sugar
Again, it’s straightforward in taste, but there’s more tartness than I was expecting based on the aroma and I’m all for it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting jammy peach, tart cranberry, brown sugar, walnut, and orange juice. The swallow brings notes of jammy peach, orange juice, lemon juice, tart cranberry, brown sugar, and graham cracker
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes mostly dry and surprisingly refreshing
It’s nothing remarkable but it’s still damn solid
