Not promising, nor unexpected is the exposure of this brew inside a clear glass liter mug after the contents of a pint can were emptied completely into it. Most surprisingly, there was no excessive fluffy foam produced, even at room temperature. Unfortunately, there was no notable head at all. It looks grapefruit juice amber in color, dull and opaque, but not murky. It's aroma is subdued, maybe some citrus notes with some vague starchiness. Nor is it a bold attack on the taste buds. The body is acceptable and it brings a mildly sweet starchy backbone that can't be described as malty. The hops only bite a little, both upfront and during the finish, in a predictable citrusy way. Again, this is a very modest tasting brew, which doesn't make it bad, just not outstanding. There's nothing annoying or wrong here, so overall it's a pleasant easy drinking modern IPA with a pleasurable mouthfeel and just enough taste to satisfy.
