Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight haze, head is brighter white with fine to small frothy bubbles, head lingers with solid top and lacing on glass sides.
Smell is light with mostly hop notes of pith and tropical notes, not quite 'west coast' hop profile to me, and then very limited malt.
Taste is more pith and citrus, light mixed tropicals, malt is too subtle for the style but pleasant backing to the hops.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, low sweetness, low/moderate bitterness but builds with warmth.
Overall a good beer but really doesnt fit the WCIPA style as the malt profile seems light/less sweet than anticipated.

Juicy, dank and chewy. Hits all the marks of a solid West Coast IPA. Perhaps a little too easy to drink and could have a little more bittering hops. Otherwise it’s really nice.
