When the storm rolls in, brace yourself. This Double IPA thunders with New Zealand Cascade and Mosaic hops, plus a few stealthy companions. Indica clouds swirl around ripe papaya and a rush of sticky, resinous haze.

Picked up a four pack after being impressed with another beer from this Pennsylvania brewer. This is definitely a hazy New England IPA. Very citrus smell and light mouthfeel. I taste the citrus and mango is prominent. Very smooth and not strong for a double. I hope to find more from this brewer.

Can into pint glass. Pours a murky honey-gold with a nice off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is sweet citrus, mango, and peach. Slight alcohol warming. Mouthfeel is creamy-smooth and quite thick. Finish fades to a slightly peppery citrus sweetness. Overall, a quite enjoyable New England DIPA from Ever Grain.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange golden pour, soft, creamy white head, lacing. Aroma is a light blend of tropical and stone fruit. Taste is fruity, traces of citrus, mango, peach, pear. Soft, smooth finish.

Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is thick hazy/murky gold, head is off white to brighter white with fine bubbles, head presents one finger thick then dissipates to thin solid top with lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is big mosaic heavy dose of mixed tropicals and candied sweetness, lighter pith and citrus, maybe light oat/bread, some booze burn.

Taste is more big mosaic heavy notes of tropicals and candied sweetness, pith and light citrus, some malt and breadiness, light booziness with warmth.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, fairly notable/moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.

Overall a NE looking NEIPA with a sweeter and mosaic heavy presentation, some boozy character and lighter bitterness for the strength or preferred for style.
