A blend of massive Barleywines aged 20 to 36 months in oak bourbon barrels, shaped slowly by time and wood. The barrels leave their imprint—spicy oak, aged tobacco, and warm bourbon heat—while a mountain of whole vanilla beans softens the edges with notes of caramelized sugar and melted mallow. Rooted in patience and shadow, this is a barleywine that speaks to transformation—the sweetness of life, the weight of time, the quiet warmth that lingers long after the glass is empty

These are filled to the very top and a bit messy to open. I've had this both cold and at cellar temp, the latter is much better. The vanilla is more muted and better incorporated, allowing raisins, creme brulee, leathery tobacco, mellow oak, and dark fruit jerky to shine through. While there is also plenty quality bourbon throughout, this is far from hot or boozy. An incredibly smooth treat overall.
