Basic crushable brew . Probably better off buying a classic America lager for 1/4 of the price honestly .

Look:
I love the way this one looks, pours a slightly opaque, but not hazy hue of golden yellow with a dense, off white head of foam that laces the glass very well. Lots of tiny bubbles visible through the glass.

Aroma:
Some nice notes of toasted white bread and even sugar cookies. Grassy with notes of freshly picked summer flowers. Maybe even some vanilla bean; but it's very slight.

Taste:
Pound cake and sweetened porridge with mild notes of roasted corn on the cob. There's a slight flowery bitterness to the flavor about half way through, rounding out the mid-palate into a dry and thirst quenching finish.

Feel:
Mid-light weight. Crushable and refreshing but with good body. Carbonation level is low but the beer remains crisp.

Overall:
Cream ales are a favorite of mine, probably within my top 5 favorite types of styles when push comes to shove. Nothing fancy is a pretty solid interpretation of the style; although I would like it to have a bit more body. This reminds me a lot like Genesee cream ale, only better. Nothing fancy is just that; nothing fancy. It's straightforward and simple, very easy drinking and approachable.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of bready malts. Taste is malts, hops are present, very refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent summertime beer.

I enjoyed this one out of the can at an outdoor festival. Nice aroma right out of the can, with white bread and floral hops. The taste followed. It was quite clean with a slightly sweet bready aspect, supported with floral and grassy hops and a moderate bitterness. Medium bodied and easy drinking. A great summer crusher.

Ale pours a light gold with an inch "cream" head. Great lacing down glass. Mild grainy nose, taste had good malt/hop balance with pleasant crisp hop finish. Perfect refreshment after yard work. As a fan of both Little Kings and Genesse Cream Ales, our local brewery has raised the bar for this style to "new heights". :0
