Pours a deep murky brown with a thumb sized dark tan head that falls slow but laces well.
Aroma is caramel, toffee, light nutty with hints of weak coffee, soft malty goodness.
Taste is about like the nose, nice body almost creamy to start good nutty undertones good caramel malts touches of toffee almost hints of peat but the alcohol rises and kind of takes over it finishes a little hot but then again it is 10% Man does it start so smooth the finish just knocks it down from being great but its still pretty nice big ass brown that I would have again.
Mouthfeel is big and smooth carbonation is even pretty smooth but seems little lighter in the finish.
Overall a good beer, could see how this won a home brew competition not very many big ass browns out there and this one is so close to perfection.
