A terrific coffee stout. Big notes of vanilla and hazelnut here, with something of a vanilla latte feel here. The coffee is prominent, really brings it on the nose and from the first sip. Silky soft mouthfeel which is a great underpinning for the dessert flavors here.

Nonic pint at the brewery, on the occasion of the inaugural bocce league meet.
Black body with a thin layer of sticky mocha foam, halo of lace around the sides of the glass.
Nice coffee aroma, some hazelnut and chocolate brownie, vanilla extract.
Creamy chocolate and bitter roast malt, coffee manifests nicely and weaves a richness through it. Vanilla tastes a little bit artificial, though overall it works ok. Light bodied with a creamy feel, light coffee acidity. Leans heavily on the adjuncts.
Overall this was a nice coffee stout, definitely a good value as a $4 Tuesday special.
