Brownish black in the glass, thin layer of tan foam and spotty lacing.
Chocolate and roasty aroma, something slightly medicinal about it.
Tastes strongly medicinal, fernet is dominant and bitter, camphor.
Base milk stout is present in the aftertaste, mild roast and sweetness, but a harsh medicinal bitterness lingers even longer. A bit thin bodied, pretty light for what it’s trying to be, especially at 6.5 abv. It was hard to finish the taster.
