Inspired by horchata and that last drink of cereal milk, this decadently sweet “white stout” is made with Saigon cinnamon and Tahitian vanilla bean.

I love OIB and as a chicago resident having been there a million times I’ve never been disappointed. This didn’t land with me. Tastes like fermented Ethiopian honey wine.
The nose far exceeds the taste buds IMO. Could be I’m not a fan of the style. After two of these I wish I’d just walked out of the liquor store with my tried and true fistmas. Won’t buy this again and probably won’t finish the other two.

A smooth white stout. Very creamy mouth feel. And the smell is total cinnamon toast couch! It's the kinda beer I could have for breakfast. Worth having again.

16 oz can into a pint glass.
A: Slightly hazy dark amber color with a half-finger off-white head that fizzled out in under a minute.
S: Cinnamon! Really does smell like its breakfast cereal namesake. Also caramel malt, vanilla, and some warming spice.
T: Follows. Cinnamon is ever-present but not overbearing. Lactose sweetness is pretty intense and makes this one more of a sipper as it warms.
F: Medium bodied, goes down smooth
O: A fantastic sweet treat.

Tasted in a Spiegelau stout glass from a one pint can on August 31, 2018. A white stout brewed with Saigon cinnamon and Tahitian vanilla bean. Recommended.
