A - Pours a motor oil black with a thin tan head. Nice amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is big coconut, vanilla and bourbon barrel.
T - The taste is big sweet coconut, dark chocolate, black coffee, vanilla, roasted malts, oak and some light bourbon heat.
M - Full body with medium carbonation. Syrupy mouthfeel with a nice crisp finish.
O - Really dig this. The sweet coconut is upfront, but doesn’t overtake the other flavors.

Another Krampus. The first one was excellent. Hoping for more of the same. 16 oz. can. Nice art.
Black. In contrast to the Cookies version this nose is dominated by vanilla.
Koko Krampus is a glowing example of more does not equal better. The added coconut & coffee seems to have smoothed out the rough edges that made Cookies so fine. One can taste everything but the coffee: bourbon on top, coconut, vanilla, chocolate with some lactose tossed in. Boozy. Thick but not pastry thick. Sixteen ounces? Sure, sir.
Not up to the exhilaration of the Krampus Cookie, this is more a steady, very good barrel aged stout.

16 ounce can into a snifter. Late 2020 release, had 12/24/20.
Pours near black and opaque, a brief sizzle of a head, no lacing. Aromas of coconut, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, some caramel, some oak, light bourbon. The flavor begins with the bourbon, then coconut, chocolate, vanilla, malt, oak, some caramel, lighter coffee than the aroma. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated on the low side.
All the add- ins show very well, especially the coconut. The barrels are a little lighter than the 2020 straight BA, but are still solid and impactful. Really enjoyable.
