16 ounce can into a snifter. Released 9/2022, had 10/29/22.
Pours an opaque dark brown, oily looking, with a brief head and oily specks of lacing. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, malt, light bourbon, slight coffee- a little more as it warms. Flavors of coconut, vanilla, bourbon, coffee, malt, some chocolate. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
The coconut and vanilla shine, the barrels have a more gentle impact. The coffee shows, but would have liked more, since that’s what makes it different than the year- end Krampus releases. Still, this is really good.

Thick oily black body with a brown cap. This is a bba almond joy with a pleasant amount of dark coffee. In more detail, the nose is more barrel forward with big coconut and chocolate, vanilla supporting. Taste has so much coconut, milk chocolate coating to the bourbon, oak is nonexistent, the dark coffee finishes. Feel is medium bodied, smooth, has sweet wrapped percolation and hints of warmth. Adjuncted like crazy but great for Halloween! My favorite krampus to date

Released 10/2/22; drank 10/4/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice dark tan head; a thick curtain of lace.
STRONG coconut & dark roast coffee bean notes in the nose (is that you, Tugboat, you fiend?).
Thick creamy mouthfeel.
This tastes like a Somoa cookie dipped in suntan lotion. Cloying, with borderline toxic levels of coconut.
Undrinkable, in my opinion.
