Pour very dark brown and opaque in appearance with a full finger of tan foam. Smells strongly of toasted caramel and dark fruit, with toffee, bourbon, oak, barley and a touch of tobacco. Taste is much the same, only make no mistake the dark fruits here are the emergent stars: plum, raisin, date, and even a hint of dark cherry, with rich toasted caramel and bourbon forward barrel with more molasses now than toffee, with vanilla and barley supporting in the background. Feel is lush and smooth, heavier for style, cooler than expected as barrel character is lesser here

Caramelized sugars up the wazoo. Rich, creamy, and smooth. Plantain, dark fruit, caramel reduction. Tiramisu, cajeta, soaked tres leches cake. Really nice stuff.

Reddish brown pour gives a small khaki head that fades quickly. Dark fruit and toffee lead the way in both aroma and taste. Finishes a bit too sweet for me.

Thanks to maximum12 for his generosity.
Lots of fruit here, all drizzled in toffee. I get dates, golden raisins, cooked apples, and maybe a little candied orange. The finish adds a little cocoa powder and a hint of leafy bitterness. This is tasty and stands out as unique. Maybe a little nougat as well.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a dark brown with a relatively thin layer of head. The nose is toffee, malts, and some nice dark fruit. The taste is fantastic. Malts, plums, raisins, toffee, candy, marmalade, and honey. Great stuff.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, clear, patchy tan head. Sweet malty aroma, raisins. Taste starts sweet then layers in malty notes, leather, tobacco, all wrapped up in a latent heat. Sweet finish, minor mouth coating.

Released 12/28/22; drank 1/4/23 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque brown/orange rust appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; nice lace.
Caramel, bubblegum, sea salt & faint leather notes in the nose. Odd...but not totally unappealing.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Caramel & bubblegum flavors up front; leather, booze heat & faint sea salt bite on the finish.
This is an odd beer. It's interesting, and it's drinkable, but it's not one I'll return too. A misfire, but one you can drink.
