One of the better Scotch Ales I've tasted. Nice balanced flavor. Perfect for watching March Madness on St. Patrick's Day.

Semi-opaque brown/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge tan head; frothy lace.
Caramel & peat notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Caramel, mild smoke & faint banana flavors. Faint booze heat emerged as this warmed.
A nice Scotch ale.
