16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 8/2/23, had 10/27/23.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with a quarter inch foamy head and light foamy cling. Aromas of almond, chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, some oak, light bourbon. The flavors are mostly the same: almond, vanilla, chocolate, some bourbon- more as it warms, malt, light peanut butter, light oak. Smooth, a very good fuller body, well carbonated.
The almonds are the star of this, and the peanut butter is effectively done with a lighter touch. Good barrels, although would have liked a stronger presence. All the add- ins show well. Really well done and very enjoyable.
