Had on tap. Pitch black opaque pour with a brown head that slowly settles into a thick collar. Aromas of vanilla and coconut leading chocolate with a bourbon/molasses backing, slight toasty oak underneath. There it is in the taste, the pecan! It is still way weaker than the vanilla, coconut and chocolate trinity that run this beer, but it is a nice contrast with gooey molasses laden bourbon barrel too. Feel leans warm, decently sticky and moderately heavy in weight, but not too sugary and thick. Nice dessert stout
