Lambic : 2012 and 2013

Barrel : grape maceration on a muscat barrel from our friends in Erdobenye, Tokay, Hungary. 6 months fermentation and lagering on a pinot noir barrel from winery Genoels-Elderen, Belgium.

Extra info : 250g/l wine grapes. The grapes are 75% red muscat and 25% riesling. The grapes were picked at winery Hoenshof, Belgium.

Unblended version, bottled on May 1, 2015 and also served at the Night of the Great Thirst 2015

Bottle shared at Koelschip. Hazy orange color with with a ring of white foam. Aroma is really funky with dusty wood barrel and barnyard notes. Taste is funky, rustic, floral, mineral, sulphurous, sour but not acidic. Some hay notes as well.
