A 750ml bottle at Koelschip, bottled in December 2017. Poured into a stemmed white wine glass.

Appearance: A hazy golden orange colour with a one finger off white head that had decent retention and some nice lacing.

Aroma: Funky, barnyard, wood, elderflower and light leather.

Taste: Funky, wood, elderflower, light sour, citrus, floral.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall: Overall, nice and balanced, but as per my norm, I'm still not entirely sold on floral beers.

Bottle at Grote dorst. White head. Burnt golden orange.

Very nice elderflower flavor. Soft, herbal, perfume. There isn’t a huge garden flavor in this like mamouche. Dry finish. Earthy and peppery. Very enjoyable.
