750ml capped and corked bottle into Torst stemware.
Pours a bright strawberry red. Quickly collapsing .5 finger light pink head. Little legs or lace. Nose is a face full of clove. Cinnamon, marichino cherry, and overripe sweet stonefruit. Super unique. Beer opens lightly tart stonefruit. The clove immediately takes over. Notes of cinnamon, pepper, and tart, stonefruit pit. Light acidity towards the end. Moderately puckering. Woody and more clove at the finish. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and aggressive going down. Messy finish with a puckering, lingering aftertaste.
I'm not blown away in the traditional sense but this beer is just so unique. Well worth a try!
