Brewery labels this as an Imperial Red Ale
A: slightly murky dark red/ hazy brown color. A hint of cherry in here as well. Thin, tan head
S: huge hit of earthy hops. Pine, orange zest, tea leads, and pineapple. Some caramel malts as well. A touch of creamy vanilla sweetness as well
T: follows the nose closely. Huge hit of pine, caramel, pineapple, and herbal hops. Big syrup sweetness and some more tea leaf hops. Finish is sticky sweet and herbal
M: heavier, syrupy mouthfeel with low-mid carbonation
O: really good beer. I added this as an Red Ale because the brewery lists this as an Imperial Red Ale. It’s very akin to an America Strong Ale though. A strong sipper. Very good
