A complex malt base with a tasteful but not overbearing amount of smoke. Aged in Isley and Highland scotch barrels this beer finishes with notes of cherries, oak, and has a sherry like quality.

Lovely barleywine. The scotch barrels are nicely balanced - you get the peat and smoke but also oak. thinner for a barleywine, but keeps it an easy sipper. Very nice all around.
