This deep copper ale has a rich fruity nose of banana and pear with a subtle caramel malt sweetness. Taste reveals full-bodied malt flavors of caramel and dark fruit complemented by delicate spicy phenols and a hint of earthy noble hop character.

On tap at the brewery.
A - Dark amber/copper pour with thin soapy white lacing.
S - Nose is dominated with pear, banana, and a hint of dark fruit. Carbonation is really low to none.
T - Banana, spice, clove, light caramel sweetness. Finishes with a nice balanced finish of roasted caramel and spice.
M - Thick mouthfeel wet on the front of the tongue and dry on the back.
O - A nice Dubbel that deviates a little from the style. Worth trying.
