Barrel Aged Wee Heavy
Our base Wee Heavy has aromas and flavors of malt that dominate this rich and flavorful beer. Hop character is absent while caramel malt sweetness is balanced by a touch of peat-smoked malt to produce a beer reminiscent of distilled peaty whisky. Add to that the rich flavors from aging for several months in an oak Scotch barrel and the result is Wee Love Scotchy Scotch.

On tap at the brewery.
A - Deep garnet brown colored pour with thin cream colored lacing.
S - Nice toffee and roasted caramel with light Scotch in the background.
T - Toasted caramel, toffee, and Scotch. Starts sweet, ends sweet, and light warming on the way down.
M - Big medium body and silky soft.
O - I really enjoyed this one and nice to finally see someone brew a big beer of this style. If this were canned / bottled, I'd buy it.
