I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery.
Appearance: dark brown, nearly black, with a finger of compact tan foam. I like it.
Smell: sweet, syrupy and roasty. It's not super to-style but I really like it.
Taste: sweet, roasty, rich, and chocolatey. Like the aroma, it's too sweet for the style, but I don't care: it's good.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and OK creaminess.
Overall: a tasty and interesting beer, even if not totally to-style. I'd totally have this again.
