I had this beer on tap in a nonic glass at the Figurehead taproom on Stone Way.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: citrus-peel hop character atop a rather toasty, bready malt character. Not bad, but not really my personal cup o’ tea.
Taste: moderately sweet with a citrusy, earthy hop character and a fairly high bitterness. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, not too bad, but kinda unbalanced and not something I’d go out of my way to order again.
