Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: dark amber-brown hue with a touch of haze and a thick head of frothy tan foam with a bit of amber hue to it as well. A bit darker than a lot of other Vienna lagers, but still pretty.
Smell: moderately sweet with some caramel and biscuit malt notes, along with a bit of yeastiness. Not too bad, though I’m not a huge fan of the biscuity malt character.
Taste: like the aroma, caramelly and biscuity, although the balance is more toward the caramelly end of the spectrum. Bitterness is maybe a little bit high for the style. Not too bad overall.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty decent and drinkable Vienna lager, albeit not my favorite out there.
