Copenhagen 16/5 2017. 50 cl bottle with swing cap from Kvickly. Very German label with a little shield, lions and tools for Beer-making and assurance that this is a "Feines Schwares".
Pours Dark Reddish brown with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is a little metallic without being unpleasant. Sweet caramel and light roastiness.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is sweet without being cloying. Followed by medium sweetness. Aftertaste is sweet caramel and burnt sugar.
Indeed a "Fines Schwarzes" without being decadent or original.

Beer pours in a very dark brown/near black color with minimal head. Smell is a slightly malty taste, with no fruit or hops detected. Taste is roasted malt, with good German yeast that finishes clean, minimal carbonation, and is not dry. No lingering aftertaste either. Very easy to drink Schwarzbier and is refreshing for a dark beer.

Cerveza de color cobrizo con un dedo de espuma de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma tostado y a caramelo. Sabor dulce con un ligero amargor.

De Corte Ingles. En copa Teku. Estudiando ENS. Muy buena, con bastante mas cuerpo del habitual. Su sabor quizas no llegue al sobresaliente pero feel si: incita a bebersela de un trago

500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/3/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear very dark reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, brown bread, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and solid balance of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and moderate dark fruit notes; with solid strength. A bit too fruity in the nose, but not bad. Taste of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, dark bread, light nuttiness, herbal, slight fruitiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Slight herbal/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, dark bread, light nuttiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nice and clean flavors with minimal yeast esters present in the taste. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very good schwarzbier style. All around good balance and robustness of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
