This was another beer that I picked up recently at Lowes Foods in Mebane, North Carolina. First time ever having anything from Wise Man and indeed, someone would be wise to seek out this Imperial IPA that easily lived up to its billing!
Nice, copper hue to this as it was topped off with plenty of foam that took ages to settle. Moderate sheets of lacing were left behind with a semblance of a thick ring lingering near the middle of my pint glass. Lots of deep citrus and stone fruit, turbid hops, and leather in the nose as guava, booze, and heavy-handed line emerged on the palate. This felt every bit as strong S it’s listed ABV with the end result being a beer that easily warmed me up.
Sticky with some underlying honey sweetness and bready malt, the carbonation was light as the aftertaste of weed and swamp water reminded me of a left coast take on the style. No date was to be found anywhere although this held up well and easily deserved another go-around. This was a solid beer with a fun label, as Wise Man has a good thing going on right now!

Body electric has a disgusting goopy looking blue and wretched creature firing lightning from the tips of its fingers like Darth Sideous… UNLIMITED POWER. It tastes exactly how the Goopy Creature looks, zingy, goopy, and crazy. Pours hazy deep gold with a 1.5 finger head, smells like zingy orange with massive juicey notes almost like sunny D. Hits with an electrical (pleasant) bitterness and finishes with a zingy orangey aftertaste. Hoppy and good, definitely in the top 5 IPAs I’ve had. I could drink this every day if I had the money. If you havn’t had it, try it!

Wise Man Brewing Body Electric NE IPA....This is absolutely one of the best you drink. IMO, about as close as a perfect NE IPA as you can get. If your ever in Greensboro, High Point or Winston-Salem NC....do yourself a favor and buy all you can find!

I am trying a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a hazy orangish with no head and no lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with mango, guava, and pineapple presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Pours a hazy orange color with full head. Scent is of orange and pine. Tastes strongly of fruit, with hops starting to come through on the back end. Medium mouthfeel and an aftertaste that starts fruity and ends with hops

This is my first time trying this brew from a local Brewery here in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wise Man Brewing. Picked it up at a local Lowe's food stores. Nice hazy oranges color with a nice floral aroma upon opening. This is right in my wheelhouse as it is a great cross between a nice West Coast bitter IPA and a hazy New England brew. Balanced taste with nice amount of fruit and bitter hops. Coats the tongue very well and has a beautiful lasting effect with a bit of a burn after swallowing. I will certainly get this again and urge anyone who sees this to pick up a four pack at minimum.

Maybe the benefactor of an evening of mediocre beers, but I’m loving this. Maybe not an A typical New England, maybe more of a West Coast/NE hybrid (which is what I tend to really dig), has a hazy orangish color, some “softer” hop qualities, but some dankness and bitterness to keep things interesting (IMO). Never had anything from Wiseman before, but definitely good enough to keep me interested in trying more.
