I am trying this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head with spotty lace. The scent had faint bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle bitter pine hop presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Look: This beer pours a nice amber with a gorgeous off-white head that sticks around for fun after several minutes. It is a very appetizing looking beer and easy on the eyes.
Smell: This beers smells delicious with an assortment of different citrusy, hoppy scents. From this I smelled orange, and grapefruit.
Taste: The taste of this beer was extremely pleasant. The initial flavor is nice and fruity and morphs into a beautiful caramel flavor that finishes delectably bitter by the end. The finish is just bitter enough that it isn't too harsh and you leave feeling refreshed.
Feel: The feel of this beer was pretty nice and light. It flowed down the throat with ease. It is a little heavier on carbonation than I'm a fan of, but I wasn't angry about it.
Overall: A wonderful showing from Wise Man Brewing. It is a delicious West Coast IPA that is a pleasure to drink and I'd be happy to drink another.

Pours into an imperial nonic a dulled orange tinged medium golden with a fluffy full one finger white head that settles very slowly.Orange and grapefruit rind sticks out most in the nose, the grapefruit seems to come thru more as it warms a bit.Citric and bright upfront on the palate over top of hefty caramel malts,a big sharp bitterness hits in the finish, man have I missed that bitter finish!Bring on the West Coast,I have missed you so!

"A stylistic fusion of IPAs from the East and West coast, our "German IPA" features an innovative symphony of flavors provided by all-German malts and hops, including Mandarina Bavaria, Huell Melón, and Hallertau Blanc. A smooth and round citrus character is supported by herbal and fruity accents with a touch of dank.
"Music should strike from fire the heart of man, and bring tears from the eyes of woman."- Ludwig Van Beethoven"
A beautiful, slightly hazy orange golden hued beer pours into the 16oz pint glass. Solid lacing and a one finger sized head stays around almost long enough to complete the beer.
Aroma is very citrusy with slight floral aromas. The description says this has German hops, so I guess the Germans have detoured into more American varieties and loosed the Saaz and Spalt. Very American and awesome.
Hop bitterness balances perfectly with the malts (German malt doesn't add anything significantly different from any other malt IMO).
Absolutely a solid beer. Interesting in that it isn't a hop bomb. So balanced. Delicious. Totally surprised and it blew me away.
