This bold and scintillating bevvie shines with big sturdy buoyant substance! Aromas of peach pith and pitch pine presage a prickly orange, nectarine, and evergreen palate.

A: Pours a slightly hazy medium bright golden orange in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright orange + bright yellow + peach + apricot + amber colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film covering a little more than 10% of the surface of the beer each surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/orange + citrus/orange pith + stone fruit/peach + pine/resin hops over the top of moderate aromas of pale + bready + caramel + wheat malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of pale + bready + caramel + wheat malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/orange + citrus/orange pith + stone fruit/peach + pine/resin hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a slightly soft finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but a touch too soft in the mouthfeel for a classic West Coast style IPA. Enjoyable with a pleasant hop presence but wish there was a little more crispness and a little more aggressive bitterness.

Hazy amber-orange with two-plus fingers of foamy, light tan head. Decent retention and nice, thick rings of lacing.
Mild aroma of orange and skunk weed.
Watered-down, bready flavor with just hints of the orange and skunky, weediness from the nose. Surprisingly little bitterness for the style.
Medium bodied with a nice fizz to the feel.
Would have preferred a bit more bitterness in this one. The look and feel are great, though.
