Drinking this at The House of Hops Tap House in Pittsboro NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black, with a tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to ask thin ring.
Smells roasty, malty, sweet, smoky, coffee and chocolate.
Taste follows the nose with the Smoky on the front of the palate..
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a nice smoky malty porter that I would might order again.
