Inspired by the famed Ramos Gin Fizz, this refreshing Berliner Weisse screams citrus, with orange, lemon, and lime greeting the palate. Bright citrus fades into delicate juniper and a balanced sweetness from lactose and orange peel. No shaking necessary.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/9/2024. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light lacing and streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas of tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, citrus zest, white grape/wine, green apple, juniper berry, peppercorn, hay, lacto/brett funk, yeast earthiness. Taste follows with big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, white grape/wine, green apple, juniper berry, peppercorn, hay, lacto/brett funk, lactose, wheat, white bread, light pine/wood, and yeast earthiness. Light-medium fruity/lactic tartness and light juniper berry/brett spiciness on the finish. Light lingering tang and sourness with minimal pucker factor after the finish. Fairly crisp and refreshing. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; balanced grainy wheat and lightly creamy lactose with acidity and light tang/stickiness of spice. Minimal warming 5.8%. The juniper stands out in a weird but well integrated way. I have had quite a few Juniper beers in the past and this fell in line with expectations. Not overly lactic, and well balanced with a nice Brett note after almost 2 years in the can.

On tap at the NCBMF.
This lightly hazy ale has a pale golden body with a decent white head.
Aroma. Complex, even for the style, with both tropical fruit and bready notes.
The flavor is moderately tart for the style.
Medium body and carbonation.
