Grinding Stone is our version of an English Oatmeal Stout. Starting with Maris Otter Malt for a light biscuit sweetness, we add roasted barley and caramel malt to impart the signature coffee flavors. Oatmeal gives the beer it’s silky mouthfeel. Goldings hops add a light earthy/floral bitterness to complement the sweet roasted flavors. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.

I had a 23oz pour on Nitro at Colton's Social House. Dam, this is a good beer. Velvet black with a smooth feel as to be expected with nitro. Taste starts with the base malts and ends with lovely chocolate notes.
