gabf silver this year, gold last year, and worthy of its accolades, a really good, bold but not sloppy, shockoingly drinkable high ibu double ipa, really well done, stoked i got to drink this, just my second from these guys. its crazy that this is just citra and mosaic driving it, but its so distinctive, credit these guys for that, yeah there are some other hops in here as well, but its citra and mosaic way out front in nose and taste, they just seem to strike a different balance here, show a little more than is common from this everyday combination of hops, they also keep the grain relatively light, which is a win for this, the alcohol is well hidden, and the whole thing really is impressive. brassy golden color, modest white head, quite a bit more pale than a lot of these, not leaning red and heavy at all, some rice in the mix also works to keep this light, but the bitterness pops, intense in a good way, good weed, resin, raw honey, also sweet orange and tangerine, oily and zesty, lemongrass making it kind of summery, some pine there as well, an almost limoncello thing from the citra is cool, simple grain at the core of this, nice modern balance. the flavor has bright citrus up front, strong danky cannabis interior, and layers of white wine, spruce, juniper, and even cantaloupe later on, high bitterness but its not disproportional, the grain may be pale in color but it has enough body and central sweetness for the bitterness to seems exactly right when considered on the whole. i love the way the hops move, fruity then piney, slowly increasing the bitter, nice bite at the end, but not forced. killer freshness overall here, beautiful oily palate of intense hop goodness, and without any alcohol sting this is something that you could have multiples of pretty easily. impressive, west coast but new wave, really good.

Had this at the Bistro's dipa festival in 2023.
Pours a golden color, some chill haze to it, looks like a west coast ipa without the greatest amount of clarity, but the 1/2" white head is dense and otherwise good looking. The aroma hits more of a bittering vibe than it does aromatic. It get mostly Simcoe and Columbus out of the nose. The Citra is the lightest aromatic of three hops, kind of different in that regard. Trees and grapefruit rind followed by a light orange wedge.
The taste wraps an icy pine, light weed, grapefruit, orange and tangerine push. It has ample bitterness, but not so much that it is problematic. Easy going base, flaked rice I guess is what gave the appearance the lack of clarity it did. It contributes to the levity of the body, but not necessarily helping with bitterness or abv bite.
After the festival, this won Gold at the World Beer Cup. I liked it, would buy cans of it, but surprising this fared so well in competition.

Lightly foggy yellow-gold with a fairly short but frothy off-white head.
Strongly bitter pine and a little flamed citrus come to an almost rubbery resin while still remaining enjoyably hoppy.

Can pour- clear golden straw color with fat white head leaving scattered frosty lacing. Nose is citrus with a bit of sweet malt and a hint of pine. Taste follows with less of each and a mild bitterness on the way to a dryish finish.

This one definitely deserves a bump up in the ratings. Slightly perfumy with just enough offsetting grit for a well balanced DIPA. Served at 55f. Solid..

Straw yellow. 1 finger white head with good retention. Aroma is Citrus, pine, dank. Resinous pine flavored hops followed by light candy malts. Finishes smooth. This one is a steal.

My first Morgan Territory brew. Solid all around DIPA, balance of new and old. Left a good impression.
